CLEMATIS DAY AT THE NURSERY
JUNE 14, 2014

A fun day featuring our second favorite garden plant. Starting at 10:00 we will give away a clematis each hour until 5:00. Stop by anytime between now and June 14th to enter the drawing. Also any clematis purchased on the 14th will receive a 10% discount. 

9:00 - Guided garden tour by Phyllis Hathaway. She will give a tour of the garden and talk about roses and clematis growing happily together. 

10:00 Special guest speaker Debbie Fischer from Yacolt, Wa. Debby owns Silver Star Vinery and will be flying in to give a presentation in the studio. With a beautiful nursery where she grows many clematis, Debby will share her knowledge with us. She mail orders her clematis.  

1:00 - Carol Newcomb will give a tour of the display garden, talk bout the history of the Northland Rosarium, (don't miss our Rosa Glauca tree!), some of the special roses and hydrangea we have planted and of course any clematis questions. The garden is bursting into bloom and not to be missed. 

Join us for a day all about how to grow happy clematis. 



JUNE 21, 2014 - Garden Tour!

The Inland Empire Gardeners Club will be hosting the 14th annual garden tour in the Spokane Valley with garden related vendors, lunch, music, and a number of beautiful valley gardens. $12 admission on site.

Look for Northland's booth to receive a $3 off coupon redeemable at the nursery for the 2014 season!


JUNE 28, 2014 - Spokane Rose Show!

Spokane Rose Show will be held here at the Rosarium on June 28, 2014 in the studio.

  • 8  am– 10 am: Rose Exhibit Prep
  • 10 am – Noon: Judging
  • Noon – 4 pm: Visitor viewing


Come and see beautiful locally grown roses and arrangements from both amateur and expert gardeners.This is not one of the big regional shows, but more local. You might be surprised how competitive your roses can be. Bring them in and we’ll show you how to present them.

People will be available to answer questions. Since the show is being held at the display gardens you will actually be able to go from the show to the nursery and purchase many of the roses being shown. People at the show and the nursery will be able to answer any rose related questions you might have.
