Introduced to Europe from Japan in 1796, these varieties are some of the hardiest of roses. The wrinkled foliage is where the name is derived. (wrinkle in Latin is "ruga") The rugosa hybrids we offer are hardy, have strong fragrances, and are prolific in growth and blooming.
