Roses

A testimonial from our customer:
Hi Carol
I just wanted to let you know that I received my shipment of roses from Northland Rosarium today. I can't believe they arrived so quickly and in mint condition. I must also say that I was absolutely thrilled when I opened the boxes and saw how big each plant was.
Thanks for the great service! I.L.

View Catalog > Griffith Buck Roses
While a professor of Horticulture at Iowa State University Dr. Griffith Buck succeeded in breeding roses that could withstand winters on the Iowa prairie. He produced 88 varieties that were healthy, beautiful, and virtually disease free. Some of the names are interesting, reflecting the western prairie influence, and the roses are absolutely wonderful. They can be exhibited on their own, grouped together, or used as hedges. Please continue to check back with us as we will be adding to this category as the roses become available for 2007.

Own-Root Roses
All of our plants are container grown on their own roots rather than using the roots of another variety. This means they are pure, and grow only from their own, original ancestors. This also keeps the plants virus free, living longer, and gives them a more healthy, well-shaped bloom.
