Also known as Geschwind's Most Beautiful. We are thrilled to have plants available for our customers. Originally the cuttings were taken from Anne Belovich's Garden in Stanwood, Washington. This climber was originally bred by Rudolf Geschwind in Hungry and introduced after his death in 1929. His goal was to produced hardy roses for his northern climate and hence they do well in our zone 5 climate and are possibly much hardier. A stunning purple-red bloom, occurring once in the spring or early summer. The fragrance is distinctive but not strong. It is a beautiful rose on our sea green arbor.
